On ANNs in AI
NEURAL NETWORKS
Artificial
Neural Networks (ANNs) are foundational to both new and rapidly evolving AI
technologies, such as —but not limited to—, Robotics, Vision, Pattern
Recognition, Fuzzy Control Systems, e.g.,
in aerospace technologies, and Machine Learning. Neurocomputing is also an area of research
and a key outcome of the rapid development of ANNs, and —under the recent influence
of companies such as IBM— an expansion into Brain-Inspired Computing.
In
this lecture, I have compiled a fundamental framework to demystify Neural
Networks, how they work and can accomplish and support many learning drills and
outsmart the human window of intelligence.
