NATURAL LANGUAGE PROCESSING (NLP)

For most Americans NLP stands for Neurolinguistic Programming as popularized by Tony Robins in his books and TV propaganda. But in AI, NLP stands for Natural Language Processing. NLP encompasses several areas of natural language machine learning-based research, such as, discourse, semantics, syntax, speech, automatic conversational systems, text-to-speech, and various others; some like, sentiment analysis are greatly driven by social media.

In this lecture, I introduce the fundamental concepts, methodologies and strategies in NLP.
